Biographical Sketch Captain
Michael Scott Hatfield is a 1996 graduate of the Ohio University Reserve
Officer Training Corps Program. He holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice
from the Ohio University and an Associate Degree of Applied Science from
Hocking College. Currently Captain Hatfield is pursuing a Master of
Business Administration from Franklin University.
He is a graduate of the Air Defense Officer Basic Course,
Pre-Command Phase I and II, and is currently enrolled for the Air
Defense Officer Advanced Course. Captain
Hatfield presently serves as the S-4 Logistics Officer, 2nd
Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery (Avenger). Previous to
this assignment, Captain Hatfield served as the Executive Officer for
Alpha Battery and Platoon Leader for Alpha Battery, 2nd
Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery (Avenger). He served
as an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve 914th Combat
Support Hospital and the 2291st USA Hospital. Captain Hatfield is employed as an Operations
Manger with the West Central Community Correctional Facility located in
Marysville, Ohio. He is responsible for facility security, safety, and
sanitation. He directly supervises; security staff, facility life safety
systems, resident intake and release, drug/alcohol testing, visitation,
recreation, commissary, laundry services, and transportation services.
He supervises, trains, and hires a support staff. Captain Hatfield is married to Stacy Bell-Hatfield of Logan County, Ohio. They are the proud parents of Cassidy Nicole (4) and are currently expecting their second child July 31st. |
