| After much thought about the passing of a few of my
friends and well respected military icons in our town, I felt the need
to provide a place to share and write about these military members, friends
and or family
who are past soldiers in our county to tell a story of their
military life as they saw it.
The plan is to list each and every soldier in Hocking county from any war or conflict and to acknowledge that we do appreciate them. So many have gone on before us and was never mentioned, listed or given the chance to share their story. Some wish to express themselves and others choose not to. This is only to allow those who do. Hocking County is rich in military history of soldiers on the battlefields across this world and those who have died in hot spots while on some mission and even those who have died in training accidents. There is a link provided to fill in those person who you wish to share and list. We plan to list people periodically for a special "Spotlight" who wish to share their story.
